Founded in 1999, the felt manufacturer HEY-SIGN is considered a specialist and pioneer when it comes to innovative felt products for the living & lifestyle sector. HEY-SIGN has been processing wool felt for more than 20 years into home accessories, lighting, small furniture, carpets, room dividers and acoustic elements. In addition to its own product collection, another focus of the company’s range of services is interior design, where individual custom-made products and special cuts for interior designers, architects and planners are realized.

HEY-SIGN only uses high-quality wool felt made from 100% pure virgin wool without chemical additives or recycled textiles for all products. This is the only way to ensure all the positive properties of this naturally renewable raw material. Our wool felt is skin-friendly, air-permeable and temperature-resistant. Its sound-absorbing effect ensures peace and quiet and improves the acoustics in the room. In addition, wool felt insulates against cold and heat, balances moisture, is dirt-repellent and shock-absorbent. Both the felt production and the manufacturing of all products is “Made in Germany”, the finishing of the products is even “Handmade”.

The well-known woolmark documents: HEY-SIGN is the first and only felt manufacturer that has been awarded according to the strict guidelines of “The Woolmark Company”. The material wool felt in 2, 3 and 5 mm thickness, from which all products are made, is also certified according to Oeko-Tex® Standard 100.

The majority of the extensive range is made to order, which allows HEY-SIGN to manufacture exclusively according to individual customer requirements. It is important to HEY-SIGN that the products are developed and produced exclusively in Germany. From punching, sewing, braiding to finishing, almost all work processes take place under one roof. Individual parts of the collection are produced in workshops for adapted work and in local supplier factories for metal, wood and leather. Transport distances are short, which conserves resources and actively protects the environment.

Over the years, HEY-SIGN has successfully demonstrated the design potential of felt with the highest quality standards and creative designs. Many of the HEY-SIGN products have been awarded design prizes. Until today the fascination for felt is unbroken.
