Midgard Licht – founded in 1919 by Curt Fischer – inventor of adjustable light – still produces its luminaire series on original tools exclusively in Germany. Midgard lamps convince with high quality, functionality, sustainability and design and already inspired architects like Walter Gropius, who used Midgard luminaires numerous times in the Bauhaus and in his projects.

For all products, corresponding lighting data can also be provided in order to be able to integrate the Midgard luminaires into simulations.

Midgard luminaires were and are used in many office, hotel and residential projects. The quality in combination with the individualization and connectivity are the main features. Luminaires from the Midgard collection can be easily integrated into projects, e.g. with office adapters (also wireless) on desks or in joinery installations and can be customized in sizes and colors.

Midgard MODULAR is based on the iconic design of TYPE 113, which was used to furnish many rooms in the Bauhaus. Midgard developed this design further during the 1920s into a lighting system that meets all lighting needs.

The Midgard K830 and K831 series follow very rare and distinctive designs from the early 1930s. These functionally unique lamps feature a swiveling lampshade – the simplest and most beautiful way to adjust light.

The K830 wand features a generous projection and versatile adjustability. The luminaire’s freely adjustable arms allow for flexible alignment. A special feature is the infinitely variable height adjustment by means of textile cable slidable in the tube and a counterweight to the lamp head.

The K831 pendant lamp can be customized in carefully curated color variants for shades and textile cable. There is also the possibility here if necessary to define your own RAL tone for the shade.
