With more than 80 years of experience, Standard has established itself as a trusted name in delivering high-quality solutions for professional environments, combining heritage, craftsmanship, and forward-thinking design. Now joining the pCon Community with a dual presence through both public and B2B catalogs, the company strengthens its commitment to supporting expert planning workflows.
This integration places Standard’s portfolio at the center of the entire design process, enabling architects, interior designers, and planners to work more fluidly and confidently with its products.
Standard means standard-setting
Founded in 1944 in Estonia, Standard has grown into an internationally active furniture manufacturer focused on creating functional, premium interior environments. With more than 100,000 workstations delivered, and projects across over 30 export countries, the company develops solutions for offices, hospitality spaces, and other public interiors where usability, comfort, and long-term value play a central role.
The approach is based on the idea that well-designed environments directly influence how people work and experience space. This principle shapes both product development and the way the company structures its portfolio, from individual furniture elements to complete interior systems.
Two complementary ways to work with Standard in pCon
To make the most out of its portfolio, two efficient catalogs are provided.
The public catalog provides an open entry point for exploring the products’ ranges. Users can browse a wide selection of 3D models and CAD data, supporting early-stage design exploration, comparison and concept development, helping designers quickly evaluate ideas.
For further specifications, the B2B catalog offers professionals access to detailed OFML-based product information such as prices and technical information for advanced use in design projects, this enables different high-quality combinations and accurate quotations.
Built for modern spaces
The selection includes established, among others, families such as CRATE height-adjustable desks, CONNECT acoustic items, ENDLESS space dividers, and KOKO conference tables, developed for dynamic environments. Together, they support both individual and larger collaborative settings.
Typical application areas of Standard furniture include:
- Modern office and workplaces
- Meeting and conference rooms
- Reception and lobby areas
- Hospitality interiors such as hotels, restaurants and bars
- Healthcare facilities, including patient rooms and consultation spaces
- Contract furnishing projects delivered worldwide
Manufacturing expertise and production control
Standard operates a modern 10,000 m² case goods production facility in Estonia, equipped with computer-controlled machinery and a production-planning system designed for large-scale projects. By keeping manufacturing in-house, we maintain tighter quality control, ensure a more reliable supply chain, and retain full visibility over every project – from the first drawing to the final installed piece.
Sustainability and certified quality
Environmental responsibility is embedded in the manufacturer’s operations, with ongoing efforts to make production more sustainable. Several initiatives have already helped reduce its carbon footprint. Filtered hot air is recirculated back into the factory to lower the amount of fuel needed for heating, while the transition from shale-oil-based energy to cleaner fuels has reduced harmful emissions to a minimum. In 2024, an environmental audit resulted in a “Roadmap for Green Transition”. The roadmap assessed current practices across the company’s operations and business model, identified areas for further improvement, and provided input for an updated sustainability strategy, including emissions mapping for Scope 1–2 and part of Scope 3.
The same care extends to quality. Standard works in accordance with the ISO 9001 international quality management standard, which defines requirements for consistently high-quality products and services. For the customer, the ISO 9001:2015 certificate shows that everything is in place to deliver on what is promised.
Good furniture works in the background, supporting the way people sit, move, and meet, giving every space its own feel. Through its various options, Standard helps architects and planners turn those intentions into interiors that are functional and beautiful in equal measure.
Standard is now where you plan. Its product data is available in pCon, both as a public catalog and as B2B data via pCon.login, ready to integrate directly into your planning and furnishing concepts.
