pCon.planner: Quick and easy presentation of 3D models

An interior design is not just chic, but exactly the solution the customer wants. In project meetings – often held via web or telephone conferences – it must be ensured that both parties have the same idea of the design and do not talk at cross purposes.

The pCon.planner – in combination with our free service impress – is the perfect companion for quickly sharing designs and presenting them interactively in the browser.

Export a so called PEC-File of your whole planning or just export the selection.

The question not relevant to topic, but I would ask if pCon will provide new render engine other than OSPray and Yafaray. I heard that new OSPray render very realistic image, however OSPray need SSE4.1 which AMD processor not included, so bad for non-Inter processor user (Yes, I am AMD processor). Yafaray do provide render function but produce bad bad render result, plus Yafaray is outdated, last update is 2018, so any plan in furture for include better new render engine in pCon? Thank!

Hey Jeff, currently it is not planned to provide another render engine besides OSPray and Yafaray in pCon.planner. Yafaray will not be developed any further and we will sooner or later get it out of pCon.planner.

We are developing OSPRay in cooperation with Intel and we are also optimizing it to the functions and needs pCon.planner has. The advantage for us and for the users is, that we can provide OSPRay in the free version of pCon.planner – because it’s Open Source. This means you have to deal with OSPRay in pCon.planner or maybe switch to Intel-processors.

On the other hand, the pCon.planner provides a plugin-interface where you can do nearly anything you want. If you are a developer, you can connect any render engine to pCon.planner. Some of our customers with special needs to exactly that. If you have questions you can contact us at any time!

Ya, I have upgrade my computer, trying OSPRay, and it fantasic view! Besides, I just knew that AMD do provide SSE4.1, Only procesor that ready old(May be 10 years old computer, hahahaa) don’t support SSE4.1.

Please keep in good job and yes, I like pCon than sketchup!!!
