pCon.planner 8.0: PDF Import

A brand new feature
Plannings are often based on the floor plan of the rooms to be displayed. Doesn’t matter if it’s an office, a residential building or a school – drawings with exact measurements and inscriptions are indispensable for exact planning.
For you to be able to use these floor plans directly as a basis for your planning, we have added a PDF import to pCon.planner 8.0.

This is what it can do
With this new function you can load “intelligent” PDFs into the planner and create your planning directly on the basis of the floor plan.
Not only do you work true to scale on the imported floor plan, but you can also use the snap point function of the pCon.planner for imported lines, texts, etc. Hiding disturbing 2D elements via the layer dialog also ensures efficiency when drawing in 3D.

Details about the PDF import can be found in the pCon.planner help under the chapter Import PDFs.

The PDF Import video shows you how the new feature works and the advantages it offers.

You want to test the new function immediately? Then download pCon.planner 8.0 here*. The PDF import is available in the standard and the pro version. Have fun importing and planning!

*The download link leads you to the free standard version of pCon.planner. If you are a pCon.planner PRO or ME user, we ask that you wait to download the newest version until you receive the dialog prompt from pCon.planner informing you of an auto update.
