Why can’t I download 3D models from 3D Warehouse into pCon.planner?
The problem is related to the download of SKP geometries from 3D Warehouse into pCon.planner. As with any online application, the code of 3D Warehouse is constantly being changed to prevent security issues and to improve functionality. Trimble, the developers of SketchUp, made technical changes that, unfortunately, prevent the proper functioning of 3D Warehouse with Internet Explorer. Since pCon.planner currently uses the Internet Explorer component for the integration of 3D Warehouse, the problem also affects our software.

This is how you can still use 3D Warehouse models in pCon.planner.
We will provide a fix for this problem with the upcoming update of pCon.planner. But for the time being, we recommend the following workaround:

  1. Access 3D Warehouse with the browser of your choice (except Internet Explorer)
  2. Download the desired models to a local folder
  3. Import (drag and drop) the models from this folder into pCon.planner OR access the local folder through the Media Browser

We apologize for any inconvenience. We will keep you updated on any new developments in this matter.
