Solution for Current Issues with 3D Warehouse

If you used 3D Warehouse from within the pCon.planner during the last few days, you might have been confronted with the following message that also comes with little constraints in the use of 3D warehouse:

But don’t panic. We have a solution! This PDF provides further information on the background of the issue its solution.
After following these steps, accessing and using 3D Warehouse from within pCon.planner should work as usual.

    3D Warehouse wont let me download items – it worked great a week or two ago, but today it seems to be having issues. any suggestions?

      Hello Mr. Bradford,
      The problem is related to the download of SKP geometries from 3D Warehouse directly to pCon.planner. Trimble, the developers of SketchUp, are making some technical changes in the background that prevent the proper functioning of 3d Warehouse with Internet Explorer. Since pCon.planner currently uses the Internet Explorer component for the integration of 3D Warehouse, the problem also affects our software.

      For the time being, we recommend the following workaround:
      • Access 3D Warehouse with any browser except Internet Explorer
      • Download the desired models to a local folder
      • Import (drag and drop) the models from this folder into pCon.planner OR access the local folder through the Media Browser
